Nicole is a Writer, Director and Producer and graduate of Sydney Film School with a passion for high concept story telling and world building. In June 2019 she was announced as one of Screen Producers Australia’s ‘Ones to Watch’.

The short film ‘Magnetic’, which she wrote and directed, was produced by Joanna Beveridge and premiered at the Sydney Film Festival 2019 as well as exhibiting at the Arts Activated Conference 2019 and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

In April, she had two seperate TV pilot scripts listed as semi-finalists in the 2019 BlueCat Screenplay Competition. On top of this, her recent achievements include being a grant recipient of the Create NSW Screenability Filmmakers Fund, winner of the Create NSW & Screenworks ‘GO VIRAL’ competition, shortlisted for the ABC DisRupted Initiative, semi-finalist in the Fade In Awards, longlisted for the Australian Writers’ Guild John Hinde Award, and is the Producer, Writer and Director (2 eps) of the Filmaka competition winning web series ‘Sydney Sleuthers’ which premiered at NYC Web Fest in October.


Jo Beveridge is a Writer, Producer and Director based in Western Sydney who has worked as a Creative Producer for Network Ten, ITV Studios and NBCUniversal. She was recently selected to be a Director's Delegate for Australian Director's Guild (ADG) and will join 14 other directors at the Screen Producers Australia's (SPA) annual conference Screen Forever.

In 2019, Jo produced the Create NSW Screenability funded short film ‘Magnetic’ alongside Matchbox Pictures, which premiered at Sydney Film Festival. She was also a recipient of the Screenworks Go Viral! Initiative for ‘Fempocalypse’, a short film which she co-wrote and co-directed. Jo's web series pilot that she wrote and directed, ‘Sydney Sleuthers’, was the winner of the Filmaka Web Series Competition. Filmaka funded production of the ten episode first season, which had its festival premiere at NYC Web Fest 2019. Jo wants to see more women writing and directing action. She infuses her own action and sci-fi/fantasy stories with fun and stealth politics whilst ensuring there’s equality on screen and behind the lens.
